feel weak by Daniel Sánchez Arévalo from "Azuloscurocasinegro" His wonderful debut, with whom I laughed and I was thrilled in equal measure. With "Fat" experienced the same feeling at times, but the aftertaste that I had was weird, maybe it seemed excessive, if it fits the term, in some respects. Still, I really wanted to see "Cousins," the latest film Madrid director.
And the truth is that I had a really good. If Sánchez Arévalo's previous films were more dramatic, with a great script and really good humor hits, "Cousins" is essentially a comedy with dialogue equal care and which, nevertheless, can be seen in a typical universe characters always recreates the district director of the Star, full of men and women full of contradictions and fears, where friendship, family and human relations are particularly prominent.
Perhaps for this reason that I like both movies by Daniel Sánchez Arévalo, they speak of persons, the problems they and their insecurities, because basically it is easy to be identified at least part with them. Perhaps also why you laugh and you may move equally in their films. Even assuming that there may be who only see in "Cousins" a comedy with histrionic characters, to me is the dizziness that produce love, rejection and loneliness, the importance of family / friends who come even if you do not call them, the nostalgia of first love, the uncertainty that always make certain steps in life and how difficult it is to make decisions when they have a significant emotional burden. I found a lot of "Azuloscurocasinegro" in "Cousins", but as Carlos Boyero , I took a few minutes to understand if this was serious or if instead the director wanted break with the past.
I understand there who does not look three-foot cat in a comedy, but I can not help going a little further. Maybe because as said earlier, I feel weakness by Daniel Sánchez Arévalo, for his scripts and his characters, his creative universe final. I leave the trailer. Enjoy it!
